El Pilón Criollo is a take-out restaurant that prepares and sells a variety of Hispanic foods. Our menu includes freshly made rice and bean dishes, roasted pork, fried pork, pork stew, hog maw (pork stomach), ribs, baked chicken, fried chicken, chicken stew, a variety of sandwiches and fritters. All of our meals are moderately sized and low priced compared to the competition.
The restaurant was founded on May 1, 2008. At that time, we established a reputation for unique Hispanic dishes, reasonable prices, and friendly customer service. Patrons also appreciated our bright, clean environment. Our initial customers resided in the immediate neighborhood; however, in a relatively short time, people from adjacent neighborhoods started to come in on a regular basis.
Nowadays El Pilón Criollo continues to be a family business under the ownership and management of Zury Brown, offering diverse dishes foods with a common Hispanic theme, customers can enjoy meals with a homemade style that are fulfilling, flavorful, culturally enriching and reasonably priced.
